Yes, I’m aware the Valentine’s Day is still light years away, however after seeing the gems in the back of the February Vogue I couldn’t resist posting. I have to say that one of these VBH Passion Rings would be a warmly welcomed to my substantial collection of cocktail rings. With the price of these stunners, I think I’ll be waiting for quite some time but a girl can dream can’t she?!

Stumbled across the photography from one of the most sought after fashion photographers, Alix Malka. Inspired by designers such as Galliano and McQueen, with an obsession for color his work is often named for being suggestive, rich, exuberant and with a sophisticated stylism about it. Check out the Mui Mui ads with Katie Holmes....kudos to Mr. Cruise for loosening her lease and letting her work on this fantastic campaign. Looking good if you ask me! Thoughts?

And They Say Less Is More...

For those of you who follow the mantra of "less is more", these photos may not strike your fancy. For all the others who are of the other school of thought, you will love these looks. I came across these photos via Elle.com and personally thought they were enviable at the least. The stacking of jewel encrusted bangles along with multiple cocktail rings seems like just the right amount of accessorizing. I am also quite fond of the photography here in that we cannot see the woman's eyes....so mysterious. My personal fav is the giant crystal cocktail ring in the first photo....which is yours?

Not one to typically be drawn to structured clothing, I thought these photos were gorgeous. Simple, classic and beautiful lines make for an effortlessly chic look…might have to incorporate this into my look!

Living Like Miss Lively...

Maybe it is my slight obsession with Gossip Girl that makes think she looks smoking hot in these photos from the latest Vogue but how could anyone disagree that she is a babe? Word on the street is there is some controversy that she is on the cover this month and I have say big deal! If you look like her, you deserve to be on the cover of Vogue. Keep is up Blake!

My Friend Ben...

While browsing style.com one night, I came across the wonderful jewels of Ben-Amun and it was love at first sight. It's probably the silly fact that I'm attracted to nice shiny objects that I cannot afford why I'm smitten with this man's work. Or....it could be the slight tone of the Art Deco Period that is alluring. Like most jewels that I fall for, these pieces all have a slight feel of good girl gone bad...rocker chic....love it. I'm not sure what piece is my favorite but I do think the broaches are quite nice and due for a full on comeback into the accessory world. Of course I love all the necklaces that I would pair with just a plain t-shirt and my jeans....
