I’m really digging the latest and greatest from Louis Vuitton. The past few collections have left us high and dry, somewhat confused and baffled, wanting more. Thanks to the brilliant Marc Jacobs, we got what we were looking for. The spring collection combined a juicy Parisian feel with a heavy dose of sexiness that was so right on. I cannot pinpoint what element of the collection I enjoyed most….the flippy/flirty skirts or obi-cinched waists? Or would it be the tribal accessories that were thickly piled on? It really is a toss up because the outrageous shoes with feathers and collages sprouting from them were also really quite magnificent. All in all, Marc Jacobs hit the nail on the head with this collection making all of us fashionistas want to ignore the current tough times…what was your favorite part?

Smitten...
I have forever been a fan of turquoise jewels…I have a pretty rocking seven stone ring that never leaves my hand too. These pieces by Luigi Scialanga are beautiful….and I’d especially love to have one to wear over a plain black crew neck tee…..simply elegant.

Get Your Girl On....

Ladies, I have to say that we are going to have to get our frill on for Spring 2009....From the looks of so many shows, the femme fatale is going to be in full force. Check out the outstanding collection from Sonia Rykiel....I'm so blown away by every little aspect of it! First and foremost I HAVE to have some of the sunnies! The vintage quality and quirkiness is calling my name! I think they are fantastic! Secondly, the styling is magnificent and I truly wish that I could look so glamorous on a day when my hair decides to go crazy on me....On these models it's glam, on me however, well let's just say disheveled might be a better adjective. Anyways, I cannot say enough praise for her latest and greatest collection and contribution to the fashion world...the color palette is the right mix of soft pastels combined with darker and more serious tones, the silhouettes are creative and the models are SMILING!!! Hmmm....what a novel idea? How gorgeous was the runway too? And the models makeup? I'm in awe...Well done Sonia and I can't wait for next season!
